The basics, briefly
A DMARC aggregate report (RUA) is an XML file that receiving mail servers send to the address in your rua= tag, usually once a day. Each report contains a list of IP addresses that sent mail claiming to be from your domain, along with the DKIM and SPF result for each message and what the receiver did with it (delivered, quarantined or rejected). No. The analyzer runs entirely inside your browser using the File API and DecompressionStream Web API. Your report files never leave your device — there is no server involved at all. You can verify this by watching your browser's Network panel while dropping a file: you will see zero outbound requests.
RUA (aggregate) reports are the daily XML summaries this tool parses — they show traffic counts per source but contain no message content.
