The company
DMARCmetric is operated by Digiport OÜ, registered at Viru väljak 2, Tallinn 10111, Estonia — an EU member state, so the GDPR applies to us directly. It is built and run by Efe Çakınberk, who is also the person who answers [email protected]. If something on this site is wrong, there is one desk to complain to, and it is that one.
Why it exists
DMARC reporting has a pricing problem: most platforms sell bundles of domains and meter the messages you send, so the bill moves for reasons that have nothing to do with the value you get. We charge $4 per domain per month, keep a year of history, and never meter volume. Two domains cost $8 a month — there is no bundle to buy into and no message cap to outgrow.
The second problem is that DMARC reports are unreadable by design: XML, one file per provider per day. Turning that into something a person can act on, without pretending the data says more than it does, is the whole product.
How we work — and how to check it
- The free tools run entirely in your browser. Not a claim you have to take from us: open the developer console on any of the eleven tools, run a check, and watch the network panel. Nothing you paste is uploaded.
- We say what a tool cannot verify. The BIMI checker never reports "valid", because a browser cannot check a mark certificate or an SVG profile — so it tells you which of the two it did check and which it did not. Several competitors show a green tick for a record that merely parses.
- The knowledge base cites the standards. Where an article makes a claim about DMARC, SPF, DKIM or BIMI behaviour, it names the RFC that says so, so you can read the source rather than trust the summary.
- We publish where we lose. When we compare ourselves to other platforms, the comparison names the cases where a competitor is the better buy. A comparison whose author wins every row is an advertisement.
Where it runs
The service and your report data run on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany, inside the EU. What we store, for how long, and which sub-processors are involved is set out in the privacy policy — including the retention window that changes with your plan.
