Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-11-04
These terms apply when you use DMARCmetric. They describe how the service actually works today. How we handle personal data is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.
01Who we are
DMARCmetric is operated by Digiport OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (registry code 14584252), Viru väljak 2, Tallinn 10111, Estonia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use DMARCmetric on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
02The service
DMARCmetric receives the DMARC aggregate reports that mailbox providers send for the domains you add, and turns them into a dashboard, plain-English summaries, alerts and, on paid plans, additional reports such as failure samples and raw data export, and hosting your brand logo for BIMI. What each plan includes is shown on our pricing page.
The reports come from third parties (for example Google, Microsoft or Yahoo). We do not control whether, when or how completely they are sent.
03Your account
- Give us accurate information when you sign up and use an email address you will keep: account and security messages go there, and billing emails go to the address given at checkout. To change either, contact [email protected].
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Two-factor authentication is available and we recommend turning it on.
- If you sign in with Google, your Google account protects that sign-in: keep it secure and turn on 2-Step Verification in your Google account. Our own two-factor authentication is not available for an account that signs in with Google, so if you also set a password for it, keep that password safe too.
- You can own one account on the Free plan. To open another account, the accounts you already own must be on a paid plan. Workspaces (folders inside an account) are free.
- Account email such as verification links, password resets and two-factor codes should go to a mailbox only you can read.
04Your domains and data
- Only add domains you control or are authorised to manage. Agencies and managed service providers may add their clients' domains when they are authorised to do so. Some domains cannot be added because only their provider can configure them, such as large consumer mail providers, or because they are reserved for examples.
- You keep all rights to your data. You allow us to store and process it only to provide, secure and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- How long report data is kept depends on your plan; the details are in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a domain deletes its stored reports and any logo we host for it.
- Logos you upload. You confirm that you own any logo you upload or are allowed to use it for that domain. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy and publicly display the file, only so that mailbox providers can show it with your mail, for as long as it is hosted with us and for the short time cached copies and our backups keep it after you delete it. We may remove a logo that infringes someone else's rights or imitates another organisation; where possible we will tell you first.
- You decide which DNS records you publish. Recommendations from DMARCmetric, such as moving to a stricter DMARC policy, are advice: you are responsible for checking that your legitimate senders pass before you enforce a policy.
05Plans, trials and billing
- The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. Paid plans are priced per domain or per domain package, never per message, in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling — the currency shown when you subscribe. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Where we are required to charge VAT or another tax, it is added at checkout. Invoices are issued by Digiport OÜ.
- Each account's first Starter or Scale subscription includes a free trial; an account gets one trial. A payment method is collected at checkout and charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel.
- On Starter, the price follows the number of domains in your account, with a minimum of one; on Scale, it follows the package you choose. When this changes during a billing period, the difference is prorated by Stripe.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you by email before the new price applies to your subscription. You can cancel before it takes effect.
06Cancellation and refunds
- The account owner can cancel at any time from the billing portal. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed after that.
- Payments are not refunded, including for the unused part of a period, except as described in the next point or where the law requires a refund.
- 14-day refund for consumers: if you subscribe as a consumer (for personal use, not for a business), you can ask for a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of that payment. Email [email protected] from your account's address; the subscription then ends.
- When a paid subscription ends, your account moves to the Free plan. The domain you added first keeps collecting reports; your other domains stop collecting new reports until you subscribe again. From then on, dashboards show the Free plan's history window. Ending a subscription does not delete stored report data: older data stays stored but cannot be viewed until you subscribe again, and it is deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer-protection law that applies to you.
07Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- add domains you are not authorised to manage, or use the service to monitor someone else's email without their permission;
- try to access other customers' data, probe or break the service's security, or bypass rate limits and bot protection;
- overload the service, for example with automated sign-ups or excessive requests;
- upload a logo you are not entitled to use, or one that imitates another organisation's brand;
- use the service for anything unlawful, including sending spam or phishing.
08Free tools
Our free tools (checkers, generators and analyzers) work without an account. They are provided free of charge and as they are; their results reflect public DNS and the data you enter at the moment you use them.
09Availability and changes
We work to keep DMARCmetric available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service; maintenance and incidents can cause interruptions. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature that is part of a paid plan you are subscribed to, we will tell you in advance.
10Suspension and deletion
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or remains unpaid. Where possible we will warn you first.
- You can stop using DMARCmetric at any time. To delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from your account's address. A paid subscription has to end first: cancel it in the billing portal, and we delete the account once the paid period is over. If other people are members of your account, we will agree with you what happens to it.
11Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". DMARC reports are produced by third parties and can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and DMARCmetric's analysis depends on them. We do not guarantee that the service will detect every problem or prevent every abuse of your domain, or that following our recommendations will make your email deliverable. We do not guarantee that any mailbox provider will display a logo you host with us.
12Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you have not paid us. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date at the top shows the current version. If we make a material change, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. If you continue to use the service after that, the updated terms apply.
14Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are decided by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
