DMARC monitoring compared — cost per domain
Comparing DMARC platforms on price is harder than it should be, and not by accident. Most vendors sell bundles of domains — five, eight, fifteen — and several also cap the number of messages you may report on. Two plans with the same sticker price can differ by an order of magnitude once you divide by the domains you actually have.
This page does that division. Prices verified on 2026-08-09, read from each vendor's own pricing page, linked below. We publish the cases where another platform is the better buy, because a comparison whose author wins every row is an advertisement.
We are one of the five. Treat the numbers as checkable rather than neutral: every figure links to its source.
What each platform publishes
| Platform | Plan | Price / month | Domains | History | Message limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DMARCmetric | Starter | $4 per domain ($3.33 billed yearly) | per domain | 1 year | none |
| EasyDMARC | Plus | $44.99 ($35.99 yearly) | 2 | 3 months | — |
| EasyDMARC | Premium | $89.99 ($71.99 yearly) | 4 | 1 year | — |
| PowerDMARC | Basic | $15 ($12 yearly) | 5 | 1 year | 100,000 compliant emails |
| DMARCly | Professional | $17.99 | 2 | 2 months | — |
| DMARCly | Growth | $39.99 | 8 | 4 months | — |
| DMARCly | Business | $69 | 15 | 6 months | — |
| DMARCly | Enterprise | $199 | 200 | 1 year | — |
| DMARC Digests | single plan | $14 per domain | per domain | 60 days | — |
| Sendmarc | — | not published | — | — | — |
Two of the five price per domain: DMARC Digests and us. The rest sell bundles, which is what makes the next table necessary.
What it costs for the fleet you actually have
Monthly billing, cheapest published plan that covers the domain count. "Quote" means the vendor stops publishing prices at that size.
| Domains | DMARCmetric | EasyDMARC | PowerDMARC | DMARCly | DMARC Digests |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $4 | $44.99 | $15 | $17.99 | $14 |
| 2 | $8 | $44.99 | $15 | $17.99 | $28 |
| 5 | $20 | quote | $15 | $39.99 | $70 |
| 10 | $40 | quote | quote | $69 | $140 |
| 50 | $200 | quote | quote | $199 | $700 |
The shape is the point. A bundle is excellent value at exactly its own size and poor value everywhere else: PowerDMARC's $15 covers five domains, so it is the cheapest option in this table at five — and nearly four times our price if you have one.
Where someone else is the better buy
- Five domains, under 100,000 messages a month, one year of history: PowerDMARC. $15 against our $20. Above that message ceiling, or above five domains, their published pricing ends and you are asking for a quote.
- Roughly fifty domains and up: DMARCly. Their Enterprise plan is $199 for 200 domains with a year of history — $1 per domain. Per-domain pricing cannot compete at that scale and we will not pretend otherwise.
- The widest feature surface: EasyDMARC. They are the largest platform here and their Enterprise tier keeps three years of history, which we do not offer at any price.
Where we are the better buy
- One to four domains, which is most businesses: $4 against $14–$45 for the cheapest plan that covers you.
- Any fleet size where you want a year of history without a bundle — a year is our standard retention, not an upgrade. Three of the plans above keep two to three months.
- Any volume. We do not meter messages. If your reporting volume grows, your bill does not.
- Odd numbers. Six domains does not push you into a fifteen-domain plan; it costs $24.
What we did not compare
Price is the easiest axis to verify and the least interesting one. Feature depth, support quality, hosted SPF/DKIM/BIMI records, alerting and API access all differ, and this page makes no claim about them. Sendmarc publishes no prices at all, so they cannot appear in the tables — that is a fact about their pricing page, not a judgement of their product.
Retention is in the tables because it changes what the same money buys: a plan that keeps 60 days cannot answer "what changed last quarter". Our own retention and the limits of the free plan are set out in Pricing and the free tier, and what the reports themselves contain is covered in How to read a DMARC report.
Method
Each figure was read from the vendor's own public pricing page on 2026-08-09, taking the lowest published plan that covers the stated domain count. Where a vendor shows both monthly and annual rates, the monthly rate is used in the fleet table so all five are compared on the same basis; annual rates appear in the first table. Currency is USD throughout.
